Fort Wayne Wedding Venues on a Budget

At bella&fern, we curate amazing event experiences. In order to do this, we have very honest conversations with our clients about their vision, vendor preferences, and budget. Many times, when looking for a venue, the costs can be overwhelming as one weighs the amenities and services associated with each option. Part of our job as your wedding or event experts is to find the best fit for your bottom line.

Since bella&fern is based in Fort Wayne Indiana- though we do often travel- here are three budget-friendly venue options in our immediate area to help start some conversation.

Punch Films, 200 6th Street, Fort Wayne IN 46808

Located in a historic brick print shop from the 1800’s, Punch Films offers an open and industrial event space that can quite literally become ANYTHING you imagine.  With 16,000 square feet of space and a super cool freight elevator (which you can decorate in an upscale and fun way to wow your guests!) This location reigns supreme for those looking to pack a….punch! For $4,000 the facility is yours for a full set-up day on the day before the event, the full event day, with cleanup the Monday or next business day following. Punch Films has been known to permit use of some of their lounge furniture for swanky cocktail hours and will even operate the elevator all night for your guests! With a view of Science Central (and the oft illuminated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Bridge) this near-downtown location is a top choice for many bella&fern couples.

Wedding Facilities and Pavillion Rentals through Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation

From outdoor weddings, cocktails on a bridge, or a fully enclosed pavilion, Parks and Rec truly offers an array of options for those who wish to keep facility rental costs low. A few highlights:

  • Lakeside Rose Garden is an ideal outdoor ceremony location that is rentable for under a hundred dollars.

  • The Botanical Conservatory- get the best of both worlds inside and outside but downtown Fort Wayne! Full facility rental includes the gardens, conference rooms, and a lobby equipped with security.

  • Salomon Farm Old Barn was originally built in the late 1800s and has been restored to an event space with capacity of 170 with a catering kitchen, restroom building, and outdoor grounds. Ample parking is always appreciated by guests as is the tried-and-true preferred vendor partner list

  • Promenade Park- remember the bridge that can be closed down for private events? Promenade Park Wells Street Bridge and Pavilion are superior cost-friendly options for those wanting a hip vibe close to downtown. Connected to Trubble Brewing Riverside Café and Tap, this hotspot just off the Landing is picturesque!

Freemasons Hall, 216 E Washington Blvd Fort Wayne IN

One of the most historic buildings in Northeast Indiana- The Freemason’s Hall boasts 20-foot ceilings, a grand foyer, and ballroom. This timeless venue permits the general public to book events in their grand space just steps from downtown lodging options. Rental includes tables and chairs as well as the ability to set up the day prior.
